Our story

Marina began her journey as a wedding florist in Sri Lanka over 30 years ago, designing bespoke floral arrangements for weddings, churches, and milestone celebrations. Known for her eye for detail and graceful style, she built a reputation for creating elegant wedding flowers that felt both timeless and deeply personal.

Upon moving to Maryland, she brought that same artistry to a new chapter, crafting floral arrangements alongside her daughters and passing down decades of experience, technique, and love for floral design.

Together, we launched Rena Blooms with a simple but powerful vision: to create beautiful custom flower designs that feel as meaningful as the moments our clients celebrate. With over three decades of hands-on floral experience, Marina leads every design with a deep understanding of flower types, color balance, seasonality, and composition, but above all, we focus on the intention behind each order. Whether it’s a birthday bouquet, sympathy arrangement, corporate centerpiece or a bridesmaid bouquet, we put real care into every bloom.

Today, we proudly serve Germantown, Gaithersburg, Rockville, Bethesda, Chevy Chase and DC Metro area with custom flower arrangements for all occasions.
